At the recent mayoral candidate forum hosted by the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Mike Wiggins, Councilwoman Diane Mack and all the candidates bragged about the city’s fire department.

JAN KURTZ The Fiesta of Five Flags Association announced recently that this local artist will be the featured artist for the 33rd annual Pensacola Seafood Festival. Kurtz is best known for her marine biology research and translating her fascination with the environment around us into brilliant naturescapes. One of her paintings has been selected as this year’s Pensacola Seafood Festival’s official artwork. Her work is currently displayed at Blue Morning Gallery in downtown Pensacola.
